AI Data Handling

Veera ID uses AI to help clerks read ID fields faster. The clerk remains responsible for review and confirmation before data is saved or pushed.

1. What AI Does

Veera ID may send an ID image to a configured AI vision provider to extract visible text such as first name, last name, address, and zip code. The result is shown to hotel staff for review.

2. What AI Does Not Do

  • AI does not approve guests.
  • AI does not replace staff verification.
  • AI does not decide whether a guest may check in.
  • AI does not become the hotel's system of record.

3. Human Review Required

Every extracted record should be reviewed by a clerk before it is saved or pushed into a hotel PMS. Staff should correct any missing, inaccurate, or unclear fields.

4. Local-First Design

Veera ID is designed so guest logs and ID images remain on the property computer unless the customer exports, backs up, or shares them. AI processing may involve sending an image to the configured AI provider for extraction.

5. AI Provider Configuration

Customers may use their own paid AI account or a deployment configuration approved for their property. Paid enterprise AI settings should be used where required by the customer's privacy, security, or contract obligations.

6. Model Training

Veera ID does not use customer guest IDs to train its own AI models. Customers should review the terms of the configured AI provider and choose the account type and settings that match their requirements.
