Terms of Service

Last updated: June 20, 2026. These terms describe the basic conditions for using Veera ID software, pilots, website, and related support.

This is a starter document for launch readiness and should be reviewed by counsel before it becomes your final customer agreement.

1. The Service

Veera ID provides software and related services that help hotel front desk teams capture guest ID images, extract visible text fields, review those fields, and push verified data into a hotel PMS workflow.

2. Customer Responsibilities

  • Use Veera ID only for lawful hotel front desk operations.
  • Ensure staff review extracted data before relying on it.
  • Maintain appropriate guest consent, privacy notices, retention policies, and access controls.
  • Keep property computers, networks, and credentials secure.

3. AI and Human Review

AI extraction may be inaccurate or incomplete. Veera ID is designed to assist staff, not replace staff judgment. Customers must verify guest details before saving or pushing data into the PMS.

4. Pilot and Subscription

Veera ID may offer a free pilot before paid subscription. After the pilot, continued use may require a paid plan, currently positioned as $149 per month per property unless otherwise agreed in writing.

5. Payment and Billing

Paid plans may be billed through Stripe or another payment provider. Failure to pay may result in suspension, expiration, or cancellation of access after any applicable grace period.

6. Availability and Support

We aim to provide practical support and reliable software, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. Local network, PMS changes, device permissions, scanner/phone behavior, and third-party AI services can affect operation.

7. Data Ownership

Customer guest records and ID images belong to the customer. Veera ID does not claim ownership of customer guest data.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Veera ID is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including lost profits, lost revenue, lost data, or business interruption.

9. Changes

We may update these terms as the product, business model, or legal requirements evolve. The updated date will show when changes were made.
